Content creation

Writing technical texts and making illustrations

On the 1st of September 2018, Ludejo acquired the Dutch company VMSi. This allowed us to acquired the knowledge and experience that we need for writing technical content, such as manuals and safety instructions. We also produce the accompanying illustrations, 3D and CAD (we work with Autodesk).

It’s not possible for “just anyone” to produce technical documentation. This requires specific technical knowledge. For larger assignments, which we can not complete entirely in-house, we work with external authors, who are managed by our highly experienced technical writer and engineer, Hans Wilms.

We deliver our services in the following sectors:

  • Food industry
  • Agricultural industry
  • Semi-conductor industry
  • Packaging industry
  • Medical industry

Product documentation and professional illustration

We provide the complete product documentation with professional illustrations based on 3D CAD models. This may include documentation for operators, maintenance and service personnel and in the following areas:

  • Mechanics
  • Electrical engineering
  • Software
  • User interfaces

In terms of safety regulations, technical documentation is mandatory for the delivery and commissioning of new machines.

Overname VSMi content creation division is a fact

We create podcasts with Ludejo Studios. These are hosted by Andrew Hickson and cover a wide range of subjects. The central theme for the first Ludejo podcast (That Could Have Gone Better) that we have recorded and broadcast is: what embarrassing situations have you found yourself, personally or professionally? What embarrassing moments have we experienced, whether they have come about by our own actions or not?

Why should you listen? Because it is fantastic to hear how people manage to save themselves (or just recover) from all kinds of situations! It is not only inspiring, but also very motivating (let’s be honest, who hasn’t fallen, even just once?) That’s okay! Just get up, and put things into perspective. There is always someone else who has done something just as stupid or embarrassing. Misery loves company!

Andrew knows where to find people who have beautiful stories to tell. Together with his sister Carol, the series is very funny, but with a message. A few examples of the people who have been featured: Rebecca Petras (Deputy Director and Head of Innovation) of development organization Translators without Borders; Jesper Sandberg (Founder of STP) who discussed the concept of nationalism (from the POV of a person born and raised in one country (Denmark) before making his home in another (UK); and James Cosmo, the legendary Scottish actor, famous for roles in Game of Thrones, Braveheart, Trainspotting, and Wonder Woman to name but a few?
